Tink the Cat needs a home
Tink is a very pretty 2 year old DMH Torbie (tabby with tortoiseshell markings) mix spayed female. She is extremely shy and frightens easily. She will need an experienced cat person who is patient and willing to work with her on her socialization skills. She's doing well with the other cats in her room, esp. her sister, Beauty (DLH Dilute tortie Norwegian Forest Cat mix who is also shy). It would be great if they were adopted together, but not required. She was rescued from being put down at another shelter, so we don't have much background on her, but we do know that her previous owner's dying wish that they find safe, loving, patient homes. She doesn't do well with children, but she might be O.K. with older, calm children who would give her the space she needs. She will need lots of time and patience and work with social skills. She is food motivated and enjoys sone play once she trusts you. That will help her adjust once she's used to her new home. We also don't know about dogs, but perhaps a calm, cat-friendly dog that wouldn't bother her might be O.K.
